Intro

Every few years, I get the urge to blog.  Previously, I had a Xanga account that I would contribute to off and on, but given the world dominance of Google, I decided to make the switch to Blogger/Blogspot this time around.  I wonder if Google will help me get some more traffic?  In any case, be warned that I could lose interest in this at any moment, so try not to get too attached.

With that out of the way, allow me to introduce myself.  I'm Mike.  I am a 30-something dose of AWESOME who juggles a career in engineering, a brood of children, and the responsibility of being a gold-standard of manliness each and every day.  It gets tiring sometimes, but I wouldn't want it any other way!

Anyway, it seems to be getting late, and I've got a whole dose of exciting things planned for tomorrow...so I guess it's bedtime.  Goodnight!
